Dipped in Lace

   Fashion is all about details, and this winter the detail is in lace. With more designers adding lace to tights, classic black dresses, shoes and more, the trend is becoming bigger and bigger. Red carpets everywhere are loaded with celebs sporting lace and even Fashion Police's very own Joan Rivers approves the trend. With Joan's blessing and many celebrity endorsements, lace is they way to go this holiday season.

   

   Inspiration for lace designs comes from Victorian fashion and also reflect the clean looks of fall 2010. Designers such as Stella McCartney and the late Alexander McQeen include many lace ensembles in their winter 2010-11 look books. The versatility of lace is what makes it so popular. It can be dressed up or casually worn, always looking classy and adding that extra spice.
