| Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Blake Edwards's "Breakfast at Tiffany's"(1961). |
Drum roll please... She was one of fashion's finest, classiest women to ever walk this earth. Audrey Hepburn is a TRUE inspiration. As a trendsetter, a class act and a wonderful actress, Hepburn was nothing less than a fashion queen. She didn't "go with the flow", she went with her own flow; the flow that designers now base their looks off of, the look that girls everywhere try to emulate, the look that Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl resembles in every episode. In her most famous film, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Hepburn portrays a New York socialite who falls in love with a young man that moves into her apartment building. In the flick, Audrey is a fashion lover and wears stunning clothing throughout the movie. Landing a spot on my favorite movie list, it will always be a classic- and so will Audrey Hepburn herself. I hope that her name lives on forever and she's never forgotten in the world of fashion.
"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and... I believe in miracles." -Audrey Hepburn
Classy is beautiful. Thank you, Audrey.
