Think Pink

   With every new season, comes new obsessions and on this season's list of obsessions the color pink landed itself a spot right on top. Pink is a rich, vibrant color that screams "turn it up". Pink isn’t just one color, it is a variety of different hues, and each can be worn with many other colors as well. As a color with such versatility, it's no wonder it's so stylish this spring. So when you're shopping, spring for something pink!

   What kind of pink is a la mode? Not just any pink! Honeysuckle pink, a bright, almost reddish hue, was voted the color of the year by Pantone. As far as fashion goes, it was visible everywhere on spring 2011 runways from Jil Sander to Valentino to DKNY. This tone of pink is perfectly matched up with colors such as aqua and orange. Pairing it with brights such as oranges and aquas offer bold contrasts rather than neutral colors like khaki and sand. Don't be afraid of color, make a statement.

   While flowers are blooming and growing, and so should your fashion sense. Don't be afraid to change things up! When the sun comes out, so should your inner fashionista. Wear bright colors, walk in stilettos, wear bags you normally wouldn't and be fabulous! But don't forget to be yourself. Experimentation is necessary in discovering new interests. So go out there, make a statement and be a style queen. Think pink, you won’t regret it!
