I don't even know where to begin in explaining how much fun I had today. There's nothing better than a perfect beach day in Maine with my boyfriend and his family! But while Memorial Day may seem like another long weekend of warm weather and BBQs, it has a much more important meaning. We must all honor our troops - whether serving, fallen or home from war - they're heroes. Freedom isn't simply handed to us, but we all have it because of the few, brave men and women who risk their lives every day to provide it for us. Today, I want to thank all of the soldiers that devote every day toward making America the beautiful country we live in. While me may find our selves celebrating, take a minute to say thanks.
