Fall's Favorite Footwear

While transitioning into fall clothes, it’s sometimes most difficult in deciding which kind of shoes to wear. Is it too early for boots? Are you wearing ballet flats too often? Well, there’s a solution to this problem -- loafers. Loafers are an emerging trend this fall, and have been for the past couple of seasons. Many brands are producing these shoes in many colors, patterns and styles. There are also so many kinds of loafers in neutral colors like beige and brown that are perfect for everyday use, and can match virtually any outfit. Loafers are a chic new trend and an easy look, and versatile pair of shoes all in one.

When I say loafers are versatile, I mean they can be worn with so many different looks. If you’re wearing a casual dress to class, and you can’t think of an alternative for sandals, loafers will complement your look just as nicely. If you’re wearing pants and a blouse and aren’t in the mood for heels or dressy shoes, slip on a pair of loafers. They’re so easy because you can literally just slip them on. No straps or doing a balancing act to get them on, all you have to do is step in and you’re good to go. That’s the beauty of these shoes. Also, brands like J.Crew have come out with stylish pairs in suede, leather, calf hair and even a pair coated entirely in glitter/sequins. There are kinds for every taste! Personally, I’m dying to get my hands on the navy blue sequined pair, but the neutral leather colors are perfect for everyday use. Next time you’re frustrated with picking out a pair of shoes, consider trying a pair of loafers and your outfits will be completed much easier!
