Calling all ladies! Spring is so full of pastels and the cutest of patterns, so don't let this kind of style go to waste. Of course we all want to incorporate these trends into our very own looks, but keeping it simple is just what acquiring the style is all about. One word to describe the look I'm talking about is ladylike. It's a classy look that puts your gentle etiquette on display. If you love a preppy, clean-cut style -- non of that hipster, alternative junk -- then this is what you're looking for.
As you can see, this style has some key elements: pastels, appropriate hemlines, lace, patterns such as windowpane and floral, and delicate heels. All of these things are so easy to find and put together, and the outcome is so sophisticated. This is definitely a very J.Crew kind of style, and that's why I love it. It makes me think of Jackie O., Audrey Hepburn, and even current style icon, Olivia Palermo. I idolize women who dress like this because most of the time they have features that they could put on display for everyone, but they decide to keep it ladylike and proper, something I can admire. I'll end by saying that you can never go wrong with a ladylike style. A prim, proper New England style is one of my favorite things, and I hope you can all admire it as well.

Ladies do it better.
